its creator - the British designer Ross Lovegrove (Ross Lovegrove) - studied
traditional Turkish ceramics: a geometric drawing and calligraphy, as well as
ethnic characteristics and architecture to bring a national flavor. In
Istanbul collection includes 175 items, a joint concept: mixers,
similar to the branches of the trees, round and oval baths, associated with ancient
font isolated and mounted sinks, which resemble sculptures, tile
(15? 15 and 10? 30 cm) with a texture pattern, reproducing the waves and surges
water, and simple but at the same time the original furniture. The integrity and aesthetic
harmony collection stresses the geometric pattern on the ceramic tiles
(25? 40 cm) and baths. For the work of Ross Lovegrove is characterized by purity of form,
caused by an internal vision of the relationship between man, nature and
technology. Istanbul - are elements of the natural world, as embodied in
futuristic forms. |
