Federal Agency for Construction, Housing and Municipal Economy (Rosstroy) abolished, its functions transferred to the Ministry of Regional Development, said the Presidential Decree on the system and structure of federal executive bodies.
Rosstroy was established in 2004 and is a federal executive body performing the functions of state property management in the construction industry, urban development, building materials and housing and communal services.
Prior to the elimination of agency was in charge of Minregionrazvitiya, and led by its Deputy Minister of Regional Development of the Russian Federation Sergey Kruglik.
In Minregione said that is not yet known how the function Rosstroya will be distributed in the ministry and who will oversee this theme, noting that it will be known shortly.
