For 175 years the educational institution has gone through many transformations, and the most nice period of its history, perhaps, has begun in 1882 when it has been transformed to Institute of the civil engineers was under personal protection of emperor Alexander III.
From its walls send not only the expert first in Russia on railway designs Alexander Kuznetsov and the author of the first scheme of underground Peter Bolinsky, but also such doubtless " architects-artists ", as Lion Kekushev, Boris Velikovsky, brothers Vesenins.
Within the limits of Building Salon graduates of last rates get acquainted in practice with new materials, technologies, and also fasten the first contacts to a professional audience.
